I had so much fun making this cake for W.'s birthday .... I've always wanted to take cake decorating classes, and I think I'm going to stop procrastinating and just DO it already.
Everything here is edible - I'll post components and 'how I did it' and 'what I'll do differently next time' soon!

Oh my goodness, that is outrageous! I'll bet it tasted good, and not like grilled meat. :)
It wasn't bad, though the hot dogs weren't great. They were made of fondant, which is technically made of sugar and is edible, but .... next time I'm going to make my own fondant instead of using store-bought. (You know it's got to be weird if it's *sugar* and even *I* don't like it!) The burgers were just cookies with frosting on them, and the 'cheese' was salt water taffy rolled flat and cut.
